Why do I need a legal consultation?

There are a number of reasons why you may need a legal consultation. You may want to act proactively on behalf of your business or yourself and consult with an attorney to ensure that a legal issue does not arise. You may also want to consult with an attorney if you or your business have concerns or questions about a current legal issue, pending lawsuit, or appeal. At BB Law, we are here to help. We can schedule a consultation to review your case and to make recommendations for your future course of action.

What should I expect during my consultation?

The typical consultation with an attorney at BB Law takes up to one hour. Every consultation begins with our attorneys accurately assessing your needs. We take the time to understand your legal issues, concerns, and goals. We hone in on existing or potential problems, give practical advice, and make innovative and strategic suggestions as to the handling of your legal issue or concern. Each consultation concludes with a personalized recommendation and plan of action as appropriate and as needed.

What should I bring to the consultation?

Most legal matters involve some kind of paperwork or legal documents. Whether you have a lawsuit, contract, lease, corporate formation or sale contracts, or other significant documents, you will need to bring that paperwork with you. It is important to bring relevant documents for your case so that our attorneys can review and comment on them. If you are unable to obtain them prior to the consultation, it is still a good idea to proceed with the consultation and to bring with you as much information as you can.
